Edgerton Care Center is located in the fast growing I-90 corridor amid the rolling countryside of South Central Wisconsin.
We currently have an opening for an experienced full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team as our Admissions Nurse.
The Nurse we are seeking has proven strong clinical and leadership skills, and makes person-centered care their priority, providing quality care while establishing trust, and building lasting relationships with our residents and their families are the values we possess.
Job Duties:
Review incoming referrals Communicate with hospitals and facility team regarding admission status Input referrals in EMR Welcome resident and maintain the admission process Maintain good relationships with the surrounding hospitals Market to hospitals and community regarding open beds Update data to ensure all referrals are followed up on and tracked Complete assessments of new admits Help on floor with residents as needed Update admission forms as needed If you're interested in working with an interdisciplinary team of professionals where you are a valued team member and are encouraged to sharpen your skills this opportunity is for you! Graduate of accredited school of nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or License Practical Nurse (LPN) which must be in good standing CPR certified Qualifications Preferred:
