4K a year 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Line Operator (Maintenance Technician) to join our IKI Manufacturing team on 1st Shift.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 5am-2:
30pm.
As a Line Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive maintenance, setup of equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and conduct repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including aerosol filling machines, conveyors, mixers, and packaging systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, lubrications, and adjustments according to established schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify the root cause of problems, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, troubleshoot the issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Utilize a variety of tools, diagnostic equipment, and techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address equipment-related issues and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper integration and functionality within the production line.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technological developments in aerosol manufacturing equipment to provide recommendations for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting, aerosol industry experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems commonly used in aerosol manufacturing equipment.
Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs using various hand and power tools.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, including lubrication, adjustment, and inspection techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve equipment-related issues quickly.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions or recommendations.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when required.
